    Solar Lease Agreement Terms and Conditions


    1. Lease Period: The lease agreement is effective for a period of [X] years from the date of installation.
    2. Monthly Lease Payment: The lessee agrees to pay a fixed monthly lease payment of [Y] throughout the lease period. This payment covers the use of the solar panel system, maintenance, monitoring, and any applicable taxes.

    4. Installation and Ownership: The lessor retains ownership of the solar panel system. The lessor will install and maintain the system at no additional cost to the lessee.
    5. System Performance: The lessor will monitor and maintain the system's performance. In case of any malfunction or decrease in performance, the lessor will undertake necessary repairs and restorations.
    6. Energy Credits and Billing: Any excess energy generated by the system and fed back to the grid may result in credits or compensation from the utility company. Billing for energy consumption from the grid will be handled by the utility company.
    7. End of Lease Options: At the end of the lease period, the lessee has the option to:
      • Renew the lease for an additional term.
      • Purchase the solar panel system at a predetermined price.
      • Have the solar panel system removed at no cost.

    1. Transferability: The lessee can transfer the lease agreement to a new homeowner with written consent from the lessor. An administrative fee may apply.
    2. Termination: The lessee may terminate the lease agreement before the end of the lease period, subject to early termination fees outlined in the lease agreement.
    3. Insurance: The lessor maintains insurance coverage on the solar panel system. The lessee is responsible for maintaining appropriate homeowner's insurance.
    4. Limitation of Liability: The lessor is not liable for any damages arising from the lessee's use of the solar panel system, except as provided by applicable laws.
    5. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction] without regard to conflict of law principles.
